I grew up outside of Boston, where the value of a hard day’s work was the primary financial lesson. In my house, money wasn't a conversation; it was a cycle. It came in, and it went out. Retirement was an abstract concept, and a Roth IRA wasn't even in my vocabulary. I was convinced that "investing" was just a polite word for gambling. A fast way to lose the money you worked so hard to earn.
The Journey West
For years, that mindset followed me even as I moved across the country to build a career in the fast-paced world of entertainment marketing in Los Angeles. I was moving quickly and working hard, but I was never quite sure where I was landing. I had mastered the art of working for my money, but I had no idea how to make my money work for me.
The Reframe: From Labor to Leverage
Everything changed when I entered the startup world. I learned how to ask the right questions and I realized that financial literacy isn't an innate talent. It is just a set of operational habits you haven't been taught yet.
I shifted from thinking of investing as money I was "giving away" and no longer owned to understanding it as the engine for my future. I started working with an advisor, mastered the fundamentals, and eventually took the wheel myself to go fully DIY. That feeling of authority over your own life is exactly what I founded West Grove Wealth to share.
Why "West Grove"?
The name is deeply personal. It’s the Swedish translation of my last name. But it’s also a philosophy. A grove isn't just one tree; it’s a system of growth and stability that supports itself through every season, whether it’s a rugged Maine coastline or a canyon in Southern California.

My coaching is rooted in over a decade of experience in marketing, operations, and project management. In the startup world, I learned that whether you are scaling a business or a personal portfolio, the goal is the same: cutting through the noise to create a clear, repeatable roadmap.
I apply those same operational skills (the ones used to launch global campaigns and manage complex, high-growth systems) to your personal wealth. Currently completing my Personal Financial Planning certificate at UCLA and a CFP® Candidate, I combine technical rigor with straightforward coaching to help you take the wheel of your financial future.
